INTER CONSIDERING CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR YOUNG

Italian club football giants Inter Milan are considering the idea of handing England international player Ashley Young fresh terms that will see him stay at the San Siro beyond his current contract which expires in the summer. According to a recent publication from the stables of popular Italian transfer news portal Corrieredello Sport, Inter Milan are thinking about offering a lot of their players new deals and Ashley Young falls into this category. It was also revealed that the new contracts will see the players earn more money.

Apart from Ashley Young, Inter Milan players like Serbian international defender AleksandarKolarov, Italian international Andrea Ranocchia, Italian national team midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and NicoloBarella are also under consideration from the management of the club. Dutch international centre back Stefan de Vrij and Italian defender DaniloD’Ambrosio are also in the same category as the aforementioned Inter Milan players.

The publication above was clear with the contract priority for Inter Milan at the moment. It was revealed that the Nerazzuri want to giveAlessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez new deals. Young Italian defender Bastoni has become a key player for Inter Milan in defence this season but he earns €800,000 annually. The Italian giants want to offer him an improved deal to ward off the interest of other teams. For Argentine national team player Lautaro Martinez, he has long-term admirers in Barcelona but the Spaniards have not been able to raise the €100m release clause in his present Inter Milan contract. Lautaro Martinez is high on the list of the players to be offered a new contract and this would mean that his release clause will increase.

Ashley Young joined Inter Milan from Manchester United at the start of last year. He signed an 18-month contract until the end of this season when he signed for the Nerazzuri.
