Matty Cash had been the fan’s player of the year in the previous season, but since he returned from a great World Cup, he has fallen behind Ashley Young in Aston Villa’s hierarchy. Even though he is currently out of the team, Matty Cash says that his right-back rivalry with the enduring Ashley Young is “fantastic” as he fights for a starting spot. Since Young’s victorious return from the World Cup with Poland in December, Cash, 25, has remained in Unai Emery’s pecking order at Aston Villa.

The former Forest player started as a substitute in Villa’s previous three Premier League games. Still, he also started in the 1-1 draw with Wolves a little over a month ago as a substitute midfielder alongside Young. He stated, “I have had goals all my life.” Coming off the World Cup, I want to keep playing and improving. Youngy has been doing exceptionally well right now.
