Former Manchester United defender Ashley Young has declared that he can’t wait to finally lift a league title this season and is elated that he will be doing it with Inter Milan in what is looking like his last season at the club. The former England international star has been a crucial part of Antonio Conte’s revolution at the club and joined a host of new signings last summer who have come up clutch for the club this season.
Young left United last year and moved to Italy to sign for Inter Milan following talks with Olé Gunnar Solksjær who told him that his time at Old Trafford was already over. It now looks like it was the best decision for him to make after all as he will be adding the Serie A title to the list of trophies he was able to win in his career.
The club’s attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez have been their best players this season and have carried the team with their numerous goals this current campaign. It now looks like their hard work will finally pay off and they will be securing the Serie A title for the first time after so many years.
Young says he is delighted to have come thus far with the team and hopes that they could start from here and start winning trophies starting from next season. The veteran defender is expected to leave Inter at the end of the season when his current deal expires
