YOUNG MAKES 12TH APPEARANCE IN WIN

Ashley Young contributed his own quota as a left wing back as his Inter Milan side continued the impressive winning run in the Italian Serie A. England international Ashley Young made appearance number 12 in the league this season as Inter Milan came from behind to beat lowly Crotone in a convincing manner at home. Visitors Crotone were on the receiving end of a 6-2 thrashing at the hands of Inter Milan despite scoring the first goal of the game.


Inter Milan were able to record their eighth win on the bounce in the Italian Serie A after coming back from a goal down to record the win. Ashley Young was on the pitch for 75 minutes before being replaced by former Manchester United colleague Matteo Darmian. The scoreline was 4-2 when Ashley Young departed the game for Italian international Matteo Darmian and his team went on to score two more goals in the final fifteen minutes of the game through the impressive Lautaro Martinez who completed his hattrick on 78 minutes. Moroccan international AchraafHakimi atoned for his error in conceding an earlier penalty by netting the sixth goal of the game for Inter Milan.

Crotone took a shock lead on 12 minutes through NiccoloZanellato before Lautaro Martinez equalised for the Nerazzuriseven minutes later off an assist from strike partner RomeluLukaku. Luca Marrone then put through his own goal to give Ashley Young and his Inter Milan side the lead for the first time in the game just past the hour mark. Crotone were level five minutes later through a spot kick from Serbian attacker Vladimir Golemic after ArkadiuszReca was fouled by the aforementioned Hakimi as the two teams went into the interval with two goals apiece. Inter Milan went on to show their class with four second half goals to win the game. Lautaro Martinez and RomeluLukaku scored the third and fourth goal for the hosts.
